5.      Start pumping now

We need to understand that, on average, it takes 56 seconds for the milk to flow if fed directly to the kid. This is a manual process; it shall take a couple of minutes for the milk to flow. It is completely normal, and you do not have to worry about it.

6.      Check if the milk has started flowing if it has started to increase the pace of pumping.

Here we need to be cautious in switching breasts. Always take a 5-minute gap for one breast to the other. Once five minutes is over in one breast, change it to the next. Use the pump for 20 to 25 minutes.
