Karbude Tunnel, Maharashtra

Within the domain of theKonkan railway route, the Karbude Tunnel is 2nd longest railway tunnel in the country.  It is snuggled along Konkan Coast near Ratnagiri. This tunnel spreads up to six point five kilometres. It lies between Ukshi and Bhoke railway stations.  The adjoining area of this tunnel has witnessed massive urbanisation because of the connectivity offered by this tunnel.

PirPanjal Tunnel, Jammu and Kashmir

It is a tunnel that is also called Banihal Railway Tunnel. It stretches over a length of 11.215 kilometres. The tunnel is considered as Asia’s second longest railway tunnel. It was constructed on PirPanjal Range of Himalayas in the region of Jammu and Kashmir.  It is situated in the north of Banihal Town.  It might interest you that it takes nine and a half minutes for this train to cross this long tunnel. 

Berdewadi Tunnel Maharashtra

Berdewadi Tunnel is snuggled between Adavali and Vilawade.  It runs up to four kilometres. This tunnel is a portion of Konkan railway route and it is witnessed while travelling to Goa and the patches of Konkan. Berdewadi Tunnel is a railway tunnel that was finished in the year 1998. This specific project is located in the state of Maharashtra in India.

Tike Tunnel, Maharashtra

TikeTunnel is a 4.07-kilometre long tunnel constructed between Ratnagiri and Nivasar. The tunnel is constructed on the Sahyadri range. The landscapes that come before the train steps into the tunnel are breath-taking. The tunnel was completed in the year 1998.  Ratnagiri is a gorgeous port city of Maharashtra and it is a piece of stunning Konkan along with Sahyadri Mountains. Ratnagiri region is well appreciated for its rich varieties of Mangoes and lavish green scenery. You can find so much of liveliness on this route.
