Follow these steps to access your e-Aadhaar card online.- Visit the UIDAI website: https://uidai.gov.in/
- Navigate to the ‘Download Aadhaar’ section once you click on ‘My Aadhaar’
- Authenticate your identity via your Aadhaar number, enrolment ID or virtual ID
- Enter the appropriate number in the fields provided. For example, if you select to verify your identity via a virtual ID, enter your 16-digit VID
- Enter the CAPTCHA code
- Click ‘Send OTP’ or ‘TOTP’ if you prefer to use the mAadhaar app
- Enter the code and click on ‘Verify and Download’
- To open the document that you have downloaded, enter the 8-character password that comprises the first 4 letters of your name followed by your year of birth
